Cdrom will boot but says to insert the red hat cd after getting into installation or RedHat 8

Title: Cdrom will boot but says to insert the red hat cd after getting into installation or RedHat 8

I have seen this question asked before but did not see a solution If anyone has one please tell me what to do.

System
Custom built
MSI KT333 Ultra motherboard
AMD Athlon XP 1700+
256 PC2700 DDR memory
2 hard drives 80gig 7200 ATA100 40gig 7200 ATA100
Powercolor video card w/ an ATI 9000 pro chipset and 128mb DDR VRAM
Lite On 48x12x48 CDRW
Lite on 52x cdrom

First off the system will boot to the CD 1 of the Red Hat 8 retail or boxed version I did not download and burn the ISO this is store bought. If I hit enter to to go to the GUI installation it will always go to the text installation instead. I will get through the language and keyboard screens and will then select local cdrom but when the next screen comes up it says I need to insert the RED HAT installation cd but is allready in. I have tried booting from both of my Cdrom drive with no luck.

I have also tried entering linux mediacheck at the boot prompt but it just does the exact same thing. I have also tried noprobe and hdx=cdrom.

Any help would be appreciated.

By the way I know the CD is fine because I installed RH on a machine at work with it.

Thank you,
