okay here is my problem
i partitioned my hard drive and was ready to install linux redhat 8
i downloaded the 3 files needed to install and burned them onto a cd-rw without doing anything to them.
i go to activate the partitiotn to install and try to boot from the cd drive and the installation screen doesnt start the computer hangs when i try installing on the new partition i made.
then i tried making a boot disk floppy 3.5 but i couldn't because i don't have DOS.(windows xp just has command prompt)
what do i do? i really want to try linux i heard it was good can you help
