Hi all,
I had posted to the list a few days ago asking for help in doing an FTP install of RH80 since I was unable to get it to sense my Xircom RealPort CardBus Ethernet II 10/100 (RBE-100) network card.
Well, I managed to install it by burning the software onto CDs. However, it still won't detect the card. I tried to add it manually through Gnome > System Settings > Network. It shows Xircom CardBus in the list of supported network cards. I add that with the correct IRQ setting. It won't activate.
ifconfig does not show the card in the list only lo. I can ping lo with no problem.
The system beeps when I pull the card out. So I guess it is detected, just not identified. And the card works fine with Windows 98 that is on the other partition on this laptop.
Any ideas?
