Try using use a Dos bootdisk and then type in "fdisk /mbr" in the prompt. /aLEX -----Original Message----- From: Larry Wojciechowski [mailto:larrywojciechowski hotmail com] Sent: Wed 12/18/2002 4:28 PM To: redhat-install-list redhat com Cc: Subject: Linux Deleted-LILO Remains I deleted Linux that was dual-booting with Windows (on hdd) just after I installed RH 8.0 on hda (I noticed it recognizing a Linux swap partition on hdd during install). Now, even after deleting the hdd Linux, I still have LILO on hdd. (If I let it default to Linux, it tries to load a non-existant kernel on that drive before it panics, dies). How do I get rid of the LILO boot on hdd? _________________________________________________________________ Protect your PC - get McAfee.com VirusScan Online http://clinic.mcafee.com/clinic/ibuy/campaign.asp?cid=3963 _______________________________________________ Redhat-install-list mailing list Redhat-install-list redhat com https://listman.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/redhat-install-list To Unsubscribe Go To ABOVE URL or send a message to: redhat-install-list-request redhat com Subject: unsubscribe
