Sorry for the subject, just had to do it -;^>= Have a new workstation up, running for only 3 or 4 days, and now any operations with rpm hang immediately and never return. Checked syslog, no messages or indications of failure to perform. Then I tried: 1) rpm --rebuilddb (hangs) 2) rpm -qif <file> (hangs) 3) rpm -q <package> (yep, you guessed it) Any ideas on how to solve without losing all my rpm data? What could be causing the problem?
