This is not true. If you have a Windows (DOS) bootflop you can restore
your Windows MBR any time you like by typing : fdisk /mbr

TAKE CARE: be sure to have a Linux bootdisk before issuing this command,
because after you have executed this command you can not access your
Linux OS from the harddisk anymore. A Linux bootdisk however still
enables you to start the Linux OS (partly from the floppy and partly
from the Linux partition on the harddisk). Another way to boot your
Linux is to use the 1st CD and type "linux rescue" at the prompt.
