Re: mySQL socket error !

Hi,Meraj Rasool Khattak!
     I've met the same problem,I'd to move the mysql data to another directory,but I moved the sock file too,so mysql didn't work....I remember I reinstalled the mysql-3.23.49-3 package and it work,I'm wondering why not the mysql-server-3.23.49-3 package...who can tell me why?
