You need to set up ipforwarding to make your box into a router.
Try adding this to the end of your /etc/rc.d/rc.local file, but you
can try it manually to see if your problem goes away:
echo 1 >/proc/sys/net/ipv4/ip_forward
That turns on ipforwarding. Also, you must be able to see the
internet from your Linux box. And look CAREFULLY at installing
iptables or ipchains on the linux box to set up firewalling. Once
you put a windows box on the internet, you're asking for trouble.
