Hi,
I've had this problem before, but the way it was
solved before was to create an /initrd directory.
It's there now, so that is not the problem.
What I get on boot up is:
...
VFS: Mounted root (ext2 filesystem).
Red Hat nash version 3.2.6 starting
Loading jbd module
Journalled Block Device driver loaded
Loading ext3 module
Mounting /proc filesystem
Creating root device
Mounting root filesystem
kjournald starting. Commit interval 5 seconds
EXT3-FS: ounted filesystem with ordered data mode.
Freeing unused kernel memory: 236K freed
Kernel panic: No init found. Try passing init= option
to kernel
... and the system stops there.
Any suggestions?
TIA,
Michael
