ANSWER :
I did not say RH is not good, but "I'm disapointed by the 7.3 version"
and was happy with the before versions.
And I said : "any opinions"
------
"No enough information about troubles with RH ?" :
What can I say more about DD, CD or printing ... ?
A very classical IDE DD and CD and a Hewlett-Packard 850C printer,
working perfectely with RH 7.1 under "printtool" configuration.
-As I said, I tried ALL possibilities to install my designed printer with :
cups, printtool without any results.
The HP 850C driver is listed in RH 7.3 too.
The problem does not come from the "printtool or cups" but from the LPR
port connection.
"ls > /dev/lp0" as root?" : the cursor moves under the command line and stops.
-About CDROM, why it's well recognised by 7.1 and not by 7.3 ?
-About Monitor, it's, of course, less convenient to configure it when it is
not listed in the monitor list.
The AOC LCD monitor is a new one ... and was listed in the 7.1.
-About internet connection, it's really less convenient for configuration
compared with the 7.1., but I succeed after so many unsuccessfull tries.

So, it's a reality and an opinion too about RH 7.3 and waiting for an advice
or opinion of the list's members, that 's did.

If some tell me "RH 7.3 works quite well" so I would be surprised anyway !

An opinion is never the truth but its an indication ...

see you
