cannot print again under RH 7.3

HI,

I cannot print again !
I changed the hostname from "localhost" to "pc1"
(hostname pc1)
and since, the printer system does not recognise : hewlett pc1

So, I put my hostname in localhost again and receive this message  :

[antoine localhost antoine]$ lpq
Printer 'hewlett localhost' - cannot open connection - Connexion refusée
Make sure the remote host supports the LPD protocol
and accepts connections from this host and from non-privileged (>1023) ports

What does it mean ? :

-remote host
-LPD protocol
-non-privileged
-(>1023) ports

because I cannot print and the printer prints strange characters and the sheet 
of papers go out without stopping
