As a newbie myself who just set up my dual boot with RedHat 7.2 and
Win98se, I found the automatic to be the easiest. You can check a box to
say you would like to review the automatic settings. Then you can see what
they give you by default and if you think you would like something
different, simply go back and change it through DiskDruid. 

This way worked fine for me. I just used the default partitions.
