YES : a HP 850C driver (cdjd)
-------

not really but it works with
# lpr essai.txt, too.
and prints before "This is a test...Hello...Hello"
after, the essai.txt is printing correctly.
the printer cannot print files to the abiword, koffice, staroffice format.
-----
with abiword, Koffice, Star-office :
only hieroglyphes characters and papers go out without stopping.
Is it an ASCII problems ?
-----
I added /etc/hosts.lpd and /etc/hosts.equiv, with the name of hosts ...
same !
if I type "lpq"
I receive this message :
--------------------------
Printer: hewlett aw1
 Queue: 1 printable job
 Server: pid 1620 active
 Unspooler: pid 1621 active
Status: IF filter 'mf_wrapper' filter msg - 'closed *main::KID3' at
15:28:28.060
Rank Owner/ID Class Job Files Size Time
active root aw1+619 A 619 essai.txt 90 5:28:26
-----------------------
So, I see :
 "  filter 'mf_wrapper' filter msg - 'closed *main::KID3'  "

It could come from the magic filter and the file :
/usr/share/printconf/mf_wrapper ?

What is the function of this file, and magic filter ... ?

I'm completely lost with this impossibility to print ...

thanks
