Drop the 'bs=1440k' and try it again. Also maybe you'll need to get
another floppy. I manage to get one or two good uses out of them these
days. After that I can't get them to cooperate any more (5 different
releases of RH, 3 different machines, 4 different floppy drives).
I used to be able to use an old boot disk with a new install CD. That
hasn't worked for me in awhile. At least since 6.2 and maybe earlier.
