Laptop suggestions

Hello all.  I will buy a laptop in the next few weeks and dual boot W2K and RH 7.3.  I have several questions in the hopes that I can avoid the things that keep popping up on this list.

I am heavily considering a Dell Inspiron 8200.  Does anyone have this configuration running?  Were there any problems with the installation?  I am most concerned with hardware incompatibility ... would you expect any problems with the following:
  -64MB NVIDIA GeForce4 440
  -internal 16x CDRW
  -external 8x DVD
  -standard NIC
  -standard 56k modem
  -standard sound card/speakers

Finally, does anyone have a better suggestion -- is there a better laptop for the same price (~2200.00)?  Hopefully, this question doesn't start too much of a war between everyone ...
