Facing problem to configure X setting.

Sir,

          I have P4,1.6GHz m/c with 40GB Hard Disk. I have 15GB(FAT 32),
15GB(FAT 32) and 10GB(Free for Linux) before installation. I have installed
Win98 and Windows 2000 on my m/c. Linux Installation has detected Display
card Trident Cyber Blade XP and Monitor ViewSonic E771 both are correct. But
still I am not able to run startx command and I am not able to get GNOME
desktop.
        Please, help me. I have install the Red Hat Linux 7.2.I have used
auto partition for Linux.
