If you have an older version (8.9.x or earlier), it's very prone to
being an open relay.  If it's a later version, it shouldn't permit
relay unless you've messed up the ruleset.

Go to the sendmail website (www.sendmail.org) and look at the anti-
spam documents.  I can't give you any rulesets for this.  Every site
is different.  You have to sort it out.  And if you don't know how to
lock it down, you shouldn't be running sendmail.

Until you get it locked down, turn it off.  You'll just have to live
without receiving email until you fix it.
