You may also wish to look into VNC. I've installed it on multiple platforms
and been able to do whatever I've needed to do. You have to be given some
latitude by your employer for this option, however.

Install VMWare on your machine and install Windows within it. It may be
slower than working on a Windows machine by itself, but it'll get the
job done. I do it (when I need to) and it works great.
