Re: single user mode

Hi Chiu,

In GRUB menu,
Select linux or Red Hat Linux (whatever is your label),
Press "e" to edit it,
Go to line that starts with "kernel"
Again press "e" to edit it,

Add word " single" at the end of line, so that line will look something as
"kernel /boot/vmlinuz-2.4.7-10 ro root=/dev/hda1 single"

>From the same line, press "b" to boot with current command, 
you system will boot into single user mode.
