RE: Upgrading recompiled source rpm's - how?



The problem is that when I put a force on the -F option, it still doesn't
freshen :(

It works fine if I use it on the -U option, but then it installs stuff that
I may not want (I had some extras that I didn't want installed)

Ahhhh.  Well, I don't know if "--rebuild" accepts it, but you might
try adding "--force" to the command line.  On a binary RPM install,
that forces the installation regardless of the version number.
