Hi Karl;
port 25 is blocked for security reaosn. If it is open i can use KMAIL to
send and receive mials. I can access mail with MS OUTLOOK( it comes with
MSoffice 2000) not outlook express which comes default with windows. I
think Outlook is a MAPI(Mail API) for exchange and is propritory for
exchange server.
I have to shutdown Linux and boot in windows to send-recieve mail from my
dektop with the help of compan'y exchange server.
I am lookin for solutions so that i can work only in Linux and still have
access to my mails on company's server...
regards;
Ashish

SMTP is port 25, so if 25 is blocked, smtp doesn't work, period. So, there
is conflicting information here...
