installing via USB?

Hello,
	I'm trying to install rh 7.2 on my laptop using kickstart. I'm visually
impaired and in the past have relied on the technique of sending data out
a serial port to another computer, which runs a speech synthesis program.
The problem with this laptop is it doesn't have serial ports, rather USB.
I start the install and use the command:
linux console=ttyUSB0
and i get nothing. I'm using a belkin f5u103 USB to serial converter. If
anyone has any suggestions please let me know.
