IBM Thinkpad i1200 Install Problem

Hi,

I really like Redhat 7.2, but when I tried installing it on my IBM
Thinkpad i1200 - model 1161-45U, the installer locks up. 

There is no floppy on my laptop, but I can boot off the CD. I get
to select the install type. (e.g. text, lowres, framebuffer, etc.)
Once I select the install type, the machine proceeds to boot, but
stops at:

/sbin/loader

Nothing happens after this...... What can I do to make Redhat install?
