IPCHAINS/IPTABLES

I did it last night, got home from the Cub Scout Pinewood Derby and I did a
complete install of RH 7.2 over my upgrade to 7.2.  So many files/programs
that were no longer needed but hanging around from upgrade after upgrade I
just had to clean it up (on a side track some of the programs that didn't
run under the upgrade now work).

To my surprise both IPCHAINS and IPTABLES was installed - are both needed?
I thought IPTABLES was a 7.2 thing and IPCHAINS was being replaced by
tables.

Also, is there only ONE firewall on this machine or are there multiple
firewall's available (or maybe multiple front ends for one firewall setup,
which I think is IPTABLES.

I see a quickie setup when I installed it.  Masquerade does a fire wall and
it looks like there are one or two others out there also.
