That's an extremely kind offer, thank you, but I should be ok with my
disks. My burnt copies on 700MB CDs seem to be working fine thanks to your
and Pete's help. I'm on disk 2 of the install now, so fingers crossed...
Also I'm in London so the disks would take a while to arrive.
Ah, yes, that WOULD take a bit. Damn! Why haven't they invented
cargo transporters yet?!
The 700MB versions are working? Terrific! Good luck (crossing my
fingers). It _is_ a bit subtle that RH doesn't tell you to use
the big disks. And many folk don't know about the 10MB lead in/out
parts of tracks. Think of them as the gaps between songs on old
vinyl albums. So you really need 668MB disks to make this work.
What a helpful and friendly list this is.
