Hi
I've some problems trying to install 7.2.
My machine is a 486 / 8 MB ram / 1 GB HDD.
I have a CDRom controller card called
"Philips/LMS CDROM drive 206 with cm260 host adapter card"
When I try to load the driver for that device
the machine stops with a kernel panic.
Anybody knows why ?
For one thing, 8MB RAM isn't big enough for RH7.2. You need more
memory. Until that's solved, I think you're out of luck.
To really run the system, I think 16MB is minimum, but it may be
more. You should check the RedHat website for the requirements.
