remote login issue for RH 7.2

Hi,

I have freshly installed RH 7.2 on one of machine. After the installation,
none of the remote connection work. I got connection refuse error message.

I understand that the RH 7.2 turn off inet services by default in
/etc/xinetd.d/<files>. I have turned on the telnet, ftp... etc.. (disable =
yes). I was able to telnet from the current machine to iteselve but not from
the other machine.

First I thought the connection issue. But I was able to ping the machine
from other machine (Even DNS works). But it just didn't let the remote login
(ssh, ftp, telnet...). It seems that the xinetd didn't start. So I turned
on/off the xinetd and it gave me the same result.

More peculiar that I was able to ping and telnet to other machine from this
machine but not other machine to this machine. 

Any clue! It seems to me that firewall is one something but I have no idea?
Please help...
