Since i change the desktop from Gnome to FCWS (or something

Here is my question: can root user (or maybe the current
user itself) change
that in some configuration file somewhere in the filesystem ????
You can run the desktop selection tool from an xterm by running
"/usr/bin/switchdesk"
Oh!
I forgot to tell you, when i restart X windows (after changing the desktop
to Gnome with the Desktop Switching tool running from FCWS) the FCWS appears
again.
When you switch to Gnome, save your session (click middle button on
background, select "Programs->Sessions->Save session"). Also, log
out rather than killing your session and select "Save session".
When you log in again, you should be able to select "default" and
come up in Gnome.
