Re: Kernel update / NVIDIA / Catch-22?

Thanks for the tip and sorry for the delay in getting
back.

I changed the way you did it, slightly. 

While in X, I removed the nvidia drivers, that allowed
me to continue with the kernel install while in X and
then I simply installed the new graphics driver.

I've had a few problems with random segmentation
faults on xmms and the latest up2date. I'll keep an
eye on that. Not sure if it's because of the new
kernel or just a coincidence.
