Dear Markus,
Thanks so much for your help!
I just downloaded and installed VNC. My local machine is Windows ME. The
remote machine is Redhat 7.1. I ran the vncserver first. Then I got a message
from there that a script, xstartup, was created under /root/.vnc. So I ran
this one. After that, I executed the vncviewer from my Windows ME. The remote
IP was required to insput. But I got an error on my local machine, "Failed to
connect to server".
Could you give me some ideas?
Thanks!
Li Bing

Try to use the VNC server on the Linux machine (installation and
configuration
are very simple) and VNC client on the client-machine side. With VNC
you have access to your computer and you can run not only Netscape, but
everything what you need remotely. VNC client also work under Windows and
many more OS
so you can controll your computer from Windows or other OS.
You can download it on http://www.uk.research.att.com/vnc/
or on all standard distributions CD.
Enjoy it!!!
Markus
