I have a dual boot machine (win98, RH7.3). I downloaded a file when the
machine was booted in Red Hat and I want to copy that file to the windows
partition. Since this machine has multiple hard drives, I don't remember
(or know how) to tell
where the windows partition is.
I've used the DF command, but I could not determine the sda? name of the
windows partition.
I'm assuming that once I can determine the correct name of the partition, I
can use the following command (syntax may be wrong)
mount -t msdos /dev/sda1 /windrive
assuming that /windrive is a folder in the windows partition.
Then I can use the
cp file.txt /windrive/file.txt
Thanks,
John
