Hello,
I'm having problems with konqueror3, let me describe what's happening ;o)
When I'm opening https pages I keep getting a $host "is broken" error. Works
ok from netscape/mozilla.
Java: I've downloaded j2re1.4, installed it from rpm and made a symbolic link
to /usr/lib/netscape/plugins. All browsers I have are seeing the plugins when
I check About/About Plugins, but konqueror is unable to run java applets. It
seems to load them than that's all, they're not running at all. I have to
following in the Java Console:
java.security.AccessControlException: access denied
(java.util.PropertyPermission browser read)
at
java.security.AccessControlContext.checkPermission(AccessControlContext.java:270)
at java.security.AccessController.checkPermission(AccessController.java:401)
at java.lang.SecurityManager.checkPermission(SecurityManager.java:542)
at java.lang.SecurityManager.checkPropertyAccess(SecurityManager.java:1291)
at java.lang.System.getProperty(System.java:572)
at HaziBank.init(Unknown Source)
at org.kde.kjas.server.KJASAppletStub.initApplet(KJASAppletStub.java:145)
at org.kde.kjas.server.KJASAppletStub$1.run(KJASAppletStub.java:98)
at java.lang.Thread.run(Thread.java:536)
Any ideas?
Regards,
MBJr.
