Hi Folks,
I have a brand new Compaq Evo computer. It is a 17.Ghz Pentium 4 and has a
20GB and a 40GB hard drive in it, 256MB of memory.
I have installed Red Hat Linux 7.2 multiple times and the install goes fine,
create the Boot Diskette is fine and when it reboots I get TONS of hda: lost
interrupt errors.
BUT, if I boot off of the Boot Diskette everything appears to be fine (?).
This PC had Windows 2000 Professional on it. I reinstalled that and
everything is fine with the HD's under that.
Is there something that Linux would NOT like about this setup ?
Thanks in advance !
Chuck
