Good day,
I am looking for a recommendations about the which card is the easiest
to install between:
Xircom R2BE-100 (Real Port 2 Cardbus 10/100),
3com 3CCFE575BT (Cardbus),
Linksys PCMPC200
using Red Hat 7.2 Professional on laptops build with either Texas
Instruments PCI 1450 (Gateway Solo 9300) or PCI 1420(Gateway Solo 9500).
I have read that the Xircom for example is handle by hotplug and that
the 3com is handled by pcmcia_cs-3.1.33.
What should be used for these cards hotplug or pcmcia_cs, both ?
The pcmcia stuff should handle it fine. I've used 3-Com, D-Link and
LinkSys cards and they all work. The D-Link DWL-650 wireless card
also works peachy under 7.3.
