OK, I don't know if this is the right list or not but this list does seem to
contain 99.998% of all the Red Hat knowledge out there.
Over the weekend it rained/snowed, So I got to play computer. I loaded
"grip" and "Digital DJ (ddj)" and "mysql" on my machine (RH7.2) with the
idea I would save my CD's to the hard drive and be able to listen to them
anywhere in the house (no the house isn't that big but it sounds like
something a Linux user would do).
Anyway, grip works fine, I even got it to write to the mysql database
(ddj_mp3) BUT I couldn't get Digital DJ to see the database. At first I
couldn't get a user listed then it took it but no luck on reading the
database. Then I tried to start over (blew away the user) and now I can't
duplicate what I did to get the user listed. I must have done something
else as now I can't even dump (mysqldump ddj_mp3) the database to see if
anything is in it (I get a user permission error).
I really didn't want to become an expert in mysql right now but if anyone
can help me out I would appreciate it.
Brad
