hi,
i try to mount a RW cdrom on my RH7.0 box:
mount -t udf /dev/cdrom /mnt/cdrom

and it gives me udf is not supported by kernel.
what should i do?. maybe that is why my cdrom drive
is not reading my RW cdrom.

You don't have the udf filesystem module built and/or installed. I don't think 7.0 had UDF support. You'd need to either upgrade to a later RedHat version or build a later kernel and install it. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- - Rick Stevens, SSE, VitalStream, Inc. rstevens vitalstream com - - 949-743-2010 (Voice) http://www.vitalstream.com - - - - Never try to outstubborn a cat. - ----------------------------------------------------------------------
