Enlightenment problem

Greetings friends of Linux

I have installed Enigma on a Travelmate Acer 520iT. No really big problems everything works although I have not tried to get the built in modem to work. I'm not sure I am utilizing my graphics to the max but the screen looks ok so I'm not complaining.

For a long time I have preferred KDE as my desktop, but the boot simply takes to long. Someone gave me a tip Enlightenment window manager - lo and behold, it boots in less than ten seconds!! Perfect...almost...I have tried to install "epplets" but I cant for the life of me get Enlightenment to run an epplet...and yes I have regeneratde the menus....I know this isnt a pure red hat install issue but perhaps there is a kind soul out there that may have pity on me....
