Hi
I need your help please, I am new to linux and I have
just installed redhat 7.2 on my laptop but I can not
get my USB floppy drive to work.
I am logged in as the root and I have made a floppy
directory.
When I enter mount -t vfat/dev/sda/mnt/floppy it
doesn't come up with an error, but when I write umount
/mnt/floppy it says that it has never been
mounted.....
The format of the command would be:
mount -t vfat /dev/sda /mnt/floppy
(note the spaces). You DO have the usb-storage module loaded, right?
("modprobe usb-storage").
