Sara,
Open kpackage (or your rpm package manager of choice) and look at the
dependencies for redhat-config-network. There's a bunch of them.
Did you install libglade or pygtk packages recently?
You might want to try a test install of the redhat-config-network rpm
from the install cdrom to see if you are getting dependency errors.
If so, fix those then reintall the redhat-config-network rpm.
