I have 5 Linux systems plus Windows 98 installed and all work fine. I opted to boot from individual floppy disks to minimize problems with MBR. Windows 98 hda1 swap hda2 (shared with all /home hda3 Linux systems) vfat hdb1 (for Windows support vfat hdb2 and backup) vfat hdb3 " RedHat hdb5 Mandrake hdb6 Libranet hdb7 Progeny hdb8 Debian hdb9
All systems work fine. I'm thinking of adding Lycoris
Yes, you can mix Windows and Linux on the same HD. I originally had it that way but my primary drive was too small for expansion.

Has any one installed RedHat on the same partitioned hard disk as Windows 98 and Mandrake. How well did it work and were there any problems? In other words I have three partitions, C: Windows, ex2/1 Mandrake, ex2/2 open for RedHat. John Carey
