RE : Crash at install of SCSI drivers (RH8 & 7.3)



Thank you.

I tried linux noapic and nodma (and both), but install still reboots
while loading SCSI drivers...

Any other idea ?

Try installing using the "noapic" option and see if that helps.  You may
also try "nodma" or a combination of the two.  The RH7.3 and 8.0 kernels
have problems with SOME hardware combinations.  Once the system is up
and running with the distribution kernel, these problems go away.
