still no luck !!help

I dont know what to do.  I checked my ram with memtest, it ran with 0
errors.  I checked all my hardware connections.  Still no luck getting
past the system notes when trying to install RH8.  I just removed a CDRW
drive that is going into another machine.  could that cause a problem?  It
If im reading the system notes correctly it checks the hard disk and my
dvd/cd drive then ide1 and ide2 then says this:
blk: queue c02e836c, I/O limit 4095Mb (mask 0xffffffff)
and hangs there.

help please!!!!
