Re: Missing zlib file when installing RH8.0

When I try to install it hangs before it gets through the system messages.
So I ran memtest.  Everything ran ok.  THen i downloaded a utility that
tests the whole system.  basically what it is is a boot disk that when
booted up with runs a bunch of tests and displays a report on the results.
however that willnot even boot correctly.  I tried both in my other
machine.  Each one, the redhat disk one and the test utility both boot
fine.  What could it be with my system that it wont boot with either the
redhat install disk or the test utility boot disk?  I checked all my
hardware connections and as i said ran memtest.  any suggestions?
