newbie, where's java?

hi,
I've downloaded Open Office to install on my RH7.3.
It is asking where is my Java Runtime Environment?
 I don't seem to have java installed ("which java" doesnt find anything, nor 
does "locate java", "locate JavaHome" etc)
What is the name of the RPM? is it on the 7.3 CD's?
