I am having a hard time with samba. First, i do't see
swat in the services. I also don't see a samba
configuration in the system menu. If i do a rpm -q
samba i get results without any errors. When i do a
smbclient -L clientpcname i get what it looks like
proper results.
I set the workgroup to the workgroup that i set up in
the windows box. then i uncomment the public section
and make the home/public a shared directory. But when
i type smbclient \\\\clientpcname\\c
and then i enter it does not let me in. Moreover from
the windows side i see the workgroup name in my
network but when i click on the linux icon it says
server name not accessible the network path was not
found. Any ideas ?
