Hi all,
Maybe its me but when i tried to install redhat 8
on my Compaq LT5300 I came across a little problem:
Don't have a CD-ROM drive so I wanted to
install from a NFS volume. I've done this before with SuSE 7.1.
So I made the PCMCIA bootdisks, but when I boot
from the first it doesn't ask me to insert the second disk. That is why it can't
load the PCMCIA module and my network card doesn't work.
When i tried the Redhat 7.3 bootddisks it did ask
me for the second disk and my networkcard was loaded, but those don't work with
the 8.0 cd's :(
Anyone else know of this problem and can help me
