Re: Valid IDE Configuration?



I think that both devices on a channel run at the speed of the slowest
device - so I always keep
my cd/dvd/cdr drives and hard drives separate.  Of course, the best solution
(if you have a raid controller)
is to have all of your devices on their own channel.
