RH 8.0 install troubles

Rick,

Thanks for the info. I've tried noapic, noprobe,
etc...and still get the errors every time. It's very
inconsistent though. At times they will spit out 3 to
4 a second and not cease while at other times it will
spit out for about 5 seconds...then stop. Those are
the times I actually GET to the install part. I find
that I have more luck at times by booting with a DOS
boot disk, going to the CD-ROM and launching the
Autoboot program under DOSUTILS. However, that doesn't
work often. In fact, this morning when I actually got
through the first install disk, when I rebooted, was
never able to get past the APIC issues again. I have
disabled and reabled APIC in the BIOS...but it doesn't
seem to make much difference. It's the inconsistency
that really concerns me.

Anything else ring a bell?
