PostgreSQL on RedHat Advanced Server with Itanium II on HP rx5670

i don't know if you can help me about this issue, i appreciate any
comment you can tell me.

We have an intranet applicattion running on Linux RedHat 7.1 and works
with MySQL
we need to upgrade this application, the upgrade works only with
PostgreSQL.

this upgrade version we want to run over a robust server, we planning to

acquire a rx5670 HP server
this server works with Itanium II Processor (64 bits) and according with

HP, Intel and RedHat documentation the Linux RedHat Advanced Server is
tested and is an special develompment to run in this type of platform
(Itanium II 64 bits)

I check the clustering documentation about this OS on your web site and
only mentioned:
Oracle
DB2
MySQL

the PostgreSQL is not supported on Linux RedHat Advanced Server?

i send this question in a PostgreSQL newsgroup and they tell us that can

run on a Alpha 64 bits platform but not tested yet on Itanium

so.. we appreciate any information about this issue, the answer to this
question is very important for us because this is a strong issue at the
moment we decided if buy or not the rx5670 server ($30,000.00 dlls prox)

and the Linux RedHat Advanced Server ($2,500.00 prox) this is a
significant quantity for us and we not have to commit a mistake on our
migration plan.
