RH9 up2date and python2.3

Hi,

I had to upgrade my python from 2.2 (original RH9) to 2.3 But now,
up2date don't want to work. I get an error on import rpm line efrom
up2date script. Can anyone tell me what to do to make up2date work with
this python version?
